WOW!!! I flew a super cub this weekend that has a brushless motor. The difference in power is addicting. I thought that flying my super cub was exciting but it is nothing compared to this. I am not as advanced as the other people flying but I probably have some of the most exciting flights. Bouncing off a power line and being able to fly the plane out and land without damage is exciting!!!! One thing I realized with that much power is it allows you to pull yourself out of potential crashes but on the flip side I think it could also allow you to do more damage when you do crash just because of the speed. I'm slowly working my way up to bigger planes but right now I am content to just be able to leave with the plane in one peice. For me that is an accomplishment that has taken alot of flight time, toothpicks, duct tape, super glue, and plane parts and just like yesterday it's still real iffy, but thrilling too!!! The ideal that you are leaving and will get to fly another day is exciting in itself. The super cub is a great starter plane, the parts are cheap and usually super glue and tape will allow you to fly another day. (course if you get like I did and have a pound of super glue weighing down the plane you may just want to replace some parts LOL LOL )

Im back to talk to you. Im going to tell you about the SUPER CUB. I think it is the only way to learn how to fly rc airplanes. I bought one OCT. of 2007 and started flying. Well for those of you that dont know me I only have 1 hand and I didnt know if I could fly but with my super cub I learned.I had quite afew crashes but me and the cub made it through it. The cub is a very sterdy plane it can can be glued and back in the air pretty quickly but if it needs parts they are very cheap. The cub only cost a $160.00 and it comes with everything you need to get started.Me and my wing man Jr.(GOOSE)Dohn have put in many hours learing to fly it dont happen just over night DONT get discoraged just keep getting air time and you will become a good pilot!!!!!!!!!Once you get it mastered it really gets fun. You can up grade your cub by putting in a brushless motor and lipo batterys I will tell about that later.I have enclosed some pictures of mine and Jr.'s cub.So come on out to the ASYLUM and start flying the crazy skys!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be back soon with some more pilot talk.

Okay, now that I have flown a super cub that is brushless, (now I'm really hooked) can you tell me what exactly I need to convert my cub to a brushless one?? How hard is this to do? Is it something that I can do easily myself once I have the parts??
